So during this weekend, after my saturday spotting, someone told me that there would be a surprise movement at Faro.
I wandered what could be and hurried today to the airport to find: Finnair MD11!! It’s going to be retired from the Finnair fleet until January 2010 so the highlight of the year for Faro Airport is here.

Foi um dia de alguns movimentos com destaque para o A330 do Emir do Qatar.

On 18-07-2009 there was the annual spotters visit to Faro Airport’s apron with the main goal was to photograph the various aircraft and movements of the day.
It was a good day concerning the movements with highlight for the A330 of Qatar’s Emir.

Particular atenção dada aos Asas de Portugal com os 3 Alpha Jet que aterraram aqui em Faro para dois deles actuarem durante o Portimão Air Festival e o terceiro ficar em reserva.

Após a segunda passagem foi embora e eis a oportunidade que me fugia: tentar apanhar o AWACS. Aqui está ele.

Ontem, 15-04-2009, A6-EDB. Hoje, 16-04-2009, A6-EDC. Estes são registos de dois A380-800 da Emirates que rasgaram os céus algarvios.
Ambos passaram à vertical do aeroporto, tornando possivel visionar-se esta maravilhosa máquina voadora.
Para quem usa binóculos, hoje foi possivel ver a pintura da Emirates. Maravilha!

Today I was surprised by the original Hapag-Lloyd colors. No it’s not an old aircraft. It’s just a TUI aircraft painted in the original colours to celebrate.
